“Touch” is an 18-page minicomic zine. It is a light-hearted story about a lonely, anxious cat who falls in love with just an accidental touch, highlighting the importance of physical touch to human connection and how touch has changed in our new, socially-distanced world.
The zine’s aim is to be visually and illustratively playful and child-like in order to explore the complex nature of human connection in an innocent manner.
I thoroughly enjoyed this project as it allowed me to explore many areas of illustration including character design, animation, pattern making and print.
